In light of the COVID pandemic Camp is currently working with the CDC, local health officials and state health officials in order to make sure we are taking every precaution to create a safe and fun environment. This will include, but is not limited to:

  • new cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • camp activities and group structure to maximize social distancing.
  • increased staff training to ensure new policies and processes are learned and practiced.

With everything just opening up, is there really time to prepare for camp?

While the property was closed to regular camping in 2020 we have been planning and preparing.

What is camp doing about the Million Miles Program (Campers From outside the U.S.)?

The Million Miles Program will not be held.

What happens if a camper has symptoms of COVID or test’s positive?

We will follow CDC recommendations on how to handle this scenario.

With all of these requirements, why are you choosing to run camp?

Since summer camps have begun they have been places where innovation and adaptation are at the center of the experience. The COVID virus has certainly been a challenge. We believe that we are meeting that challenge in order for our campers to have the matchless experience that is gained from overnight camp experiences. Camp is the perfect place for young people to come together and feel connections to peers again. With everything we have done over the past few months, we are ready to give youth a great summer experience with caring adult role models who will truly make this a summer like no other. Resilience in the face of adversity is a skill that every camper learns at camp, and this summer will be an example of our ability to show that.
