WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT?

Overnight Camp check in is on Sunday afternoon from 1:45-3:45 pm and check out is on Saturday morning at 9:45. You will need to show picture identification to check your camper out.

Family Camp programs will check-in at 4 pm and check out at 11 am. Your confirmation packet will have full details.

On check-in day if the camper has not arrived by the end of the drop off window Camp Soles will call the contact listed on the registration.

WHAT IS THE CAMP POLICY ON VISITATIONS AND PHONE CALLS?

You are welcome to tour camp on opening and closing days. While we ask parents not to call, we make exceptions in special circumstances and emergencies. If a camper needs to call home, a member of our Administrative team will contact you.

It is best if campers remain engaged in what is happening at camp, rather than speaking to parents.

HOW CAN I VIEW PHOTOS OR SEND AN EMAIL TO MY CAMPER DURING THEIR SESSION?

We use Waldo photos for our photo service and new pictures are uploaded every night. Parents will receive an e-mailed link to access the summer photos.

If you would like to email your camper during their session, you can send an email to ( [email protected]?) Please be sure to include your camper’s name and cabin in the subject line.

WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN WHO BULLY OTHER CAMPERS?

Camp Soles has zero tolerance for bullies. Our staff works diligently to prevent campers abusing, physically or mentally, other campers. All behavioral incidents will be dealt with on a case by case basis. In most situations parents will be contacted by camp staff to help evaluate the situation.

WHAT IS THE CAMP PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY?

The balance must be paid 30 days prior to the beginning of your child’s camp session. Deposits for camp are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another session/program as long as space allows. Refunds will not be given to campers sent home because of homesickness or behavior problems. Please do not ask us to hold a space without a deposit.

WHAT ABOUT HEALTH AND SAFETY?

The camp health center is equipped to handle overnight camper stays and is staffed by a trained health officer 24 hours a day. Parents will be notified if any camper has repeated visits to the Health Center, significant injury or illness, or requires care by a physician. Ambulance service is dispatched from town if required.

WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS A DISABILITY?

Camp Soles strives to offer a positive experience for children of all abilities whenever their needs can be met. Please make an appointment with the Camp Director to discuss your child’s needs before coming to camp. Camp Soles does not have the resources available to provide a camper with one-on-one attention for the duration of their stay.

WHAT IF MY CHILD LEAVES SOMETHING BEHIND?

Counselors work very hard to reduce the amount of lost possessions. Anything left behind by campers will be held for two weeks before being donated to local charities. You must call the camp office and give a complete description of lost item(s). If we can find the item(s), we will work with the family to ensure their safe return. Please write your camper’s name on all clothing and personal possessions.

MAY MY CHILD STAY WITH A FRIEND?

Cabin-mate preferences are allowed for campers who are the same age and in the same program. There is a limit of 2 requests per child. We will not be able to accommodate such requests made at check-in. Please indicate your child’s cabin-mate request during the registration process.
